Nature is ignorant of good and evil, Nature knows not discrimination, Neither poverty nor plenty matters, Neither culture nor tradition counts, Neither fame nor power makes difference, Nature settles its scores, now and then! Lines of controls are not for nature, Limiting in actions, is unknown to nature, Nature is unaware of nationalities and races, Nature is deaf to sounds and sermons, Nature is blind to symbols and systems, Nature is indifferent to doctrines and dogmas, Nature is ignorant of ideals and ideologies, Nature is supreme, its impeccable impartiality! Hurricanes and Tornadoes, tormenting the powerful! Cyclones and Tsunamis devastating the helpless! Floods and droughts devouring with death tolls! Devastations and destructions , despairing on all sides! Nature is supreme, its impeccable impartiality! Buildings flattened, families vanquished, Savings swallowed, destinies destroyed, Dreams disappeared, plans perished, Relationships scattered, realities surfaced, Properties powdered, pleasantries pounded, Love and hatred, work and worship, Ambitions , aspirations, atrocious attitudes, Faith and prayers, fellowships and practices, Brotherhoods, bondages, sentiments, sensitivities, Covered under debris, compounded in agony! Chidren buried with their books and bags, Mummies in the kitchens and dads on their duties, Labourers covered while toiling with tools, Soldiers on duty and peasants on farm lands, Vendors on their routine and lasses in privacy, Old with their prayer beads and lads on rounds, Merchants with clients, counting their coins, Professionals on projects, reviewing programmes, Bureaucrats busied with plans and proposals, Every one and every thing shaken to roots! Passages caved in, structures simplified! A whole sale collapse , a calamity beyond words! Transportation torn, communications capsized, Enveloping darkness and every where the ruins! The agony of the trapped and the anxiety of the survivors, Mountains are shattered and highways battered, The hungry become angry and the availability is uncertain, Authority at media and assurances from the affordables, Serious-minded sympathizers and setting up camps, Neighbourhood gestures, despite never ending swearing, Merciful God and His meaningless deeds! All Powerful God and His underrated understanding! Almighty Allah , His Halo becoming shallow! The Unity in our Human understandings, The Divinity in distributions and serenity insharing, The dignity in our wheelings and dealings, Yet suffering knows no Religion and culture! Hunger knows no decency nor dignity in dangers! The hands with rosary pushing children aside, It is bread for beastly stomachs pushing hungry stomachs aside,, Mothers who lost children, lost sentiments in sufferings, Children who lost parents, lost love with surviving parents, Mechanical mumbling with prayer-beads in queues, Rosary hangs in shame as fingers stretched to grab as much, Pushing hungry old and crushing crying kids in queues, Muscleman grabs many blankets, snatching from the weaker, Scriptures are forgotten and fasts are suspended, Brotherhoods broken , prayers recited, big shares grabbed, Dogs like fighting at dust bins, as vultures over carcasses, Reasoning to rationalize the ills and evils Humans are animals with stomachs to be filled, Sentiments to be killed and sensitivities suppressed, Nature reminds us, our commonalities in afflictions! Scriptural teachings and cultural heritages, Literary out-puts and time-honoured traditions, Proud proclamations and fundamentalist convictions, Astrological predictions and astronomical calculations, Ambitious planning and audacious certainties, Buried under quakes and powdered under sufferings!
